We choose not to publish the full route in advance because if you’re a cancer sufferer you don’t know what’s around the next corner and so neither should we.
However, for the 2022 Tour, we can tell you that the ride will start by Lake Geneva and make its way through the French Alps, including many iconic climbs of Le Tour de France. The Tour ends at an arrivals party in Cannes.
There will be 8 days cycling, no rest day but one ‘shorter’ day. The total distance for the tour will be approximately 1,000km. We normally ride an average of 140km/85 miles per day, climbing an average of 3500m per day.
The ride is guided by a professional cycling company who bring a huge amount of expertise as well as ensuring the safe and efficient running of The FireFlies Tour.
